01Accepting these terms
By downloading, installing, or using Countdown2Binge ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The app is operated by Cocoa Academy LLC, Florida, United States.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the app. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
02What the app does
Countdown2Binge is a season-tracking tool. You follow shows, and the app tells you where each season sits in its release cycle and counts down to the day a full season is available to binge. It also lets you mark episodes as watched and organize your list.
What it doesn't do
- It does not stream, host, download, or provide access to any video content.
- It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any network, studio, or streaming service.
- Links or references to a streaming platform are for convenience only. You need your own subscription with that provider to watch anything.
03Accuracy of show information
Release dates, episode counts, season status, and artwork come from third-party sources, primarily The Movie Database (TMDB), and from public announcements. This information changes often and outside our control — networks delay premieres, add episodes, split seasons, and cancel shows.
We make a good-faith effort to keep the timeline current, but we don't warrant that any date or countdown is accurate or complete. Don't rely on the app for anything consequential.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
04Notifications
Alerts are scheduled on your device using iOS local notifications, based on the dates the app knows about when it last refreshed. That means:
- Notifications depend on the app being able to refresh in the background. iOS decides when that happens, so if you rarely open the app, an alert may arrive late or not at all.
- A date that changes after your last refresh won't be reflected until the next one.
- Turning off notification permission in iOS Settings stops all alerts.
We don't guarantee that any notification will be delivered, or delivered on time.
05Your data and device
The app works without an account. Your followed shows and watched episodes are stored on your device, and optionally in your own iCloud if you enable sync with a Premium subscription.
- You're responsible for maintaining access to your device and Apple ID.
- If you uninstall the app without iCloud sync enabled, your list may be permanently lost. We can't recover it, because we never had a copy.
- Syncing depends on Apple's iCloud service and your available storage. Outages or a full iCloud account can delay or prevent sync.
06Free plan, Premium, and billing
Free plan
The free plan lets you follow up to three shows and includes the full timeline, binge-ready alerts, and episode tracking. If you cancel Premium while following more than three shows, you'll be asked to choose which three to keep before continuing.
Premium subscription
Premium unlocks unlimited shows, custom and comeback notifications, spin-off universes, iCloud sync, and additional languages. It is offered as $1.49 per month or $9.99 per year, each with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time $29.99 Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency; the Lifetime option is a single payment and does not renew.

| Payments and refunds | All purchases are processed by Apple under their terms. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies; we don't process payments or issue refunds directly. |
| Price changes | If we change the price, we'll tell you in advance and it will only apply after your current period ends, subject to Apple's consent requirements. |
What "Lifetime" means
Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium features for as long as we operate the app — it is tied to the life of the app, not to your lifetime. If we ever discontinue Countdown2Binge, we'll give at least 90 days' notice in the app where we're able to, and you'll keep access until then. A Lifetime purchase doesn't obligate us to maintain any particular feature indefinitely, and no refund is owed if we discontinue the app after your purchase.
07Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where that right can't be limited by law.
- Scrape, bulk-export, or resell data from the app, or use it to build a competing dataset or service.
- Interfere with the app's operation, probe its security, or attempt to bypass Premium restrictions.
- Use the app to infringe anyone's rights, or in violation of any applicable law.
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing, where the app allows sharing.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms.
08Intellectual property
The app, its design, code, name, and branding are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Show titles, artwork, posters, and logos belong to their respective rights holders and are used for identification and editorial purposes. All trademarks are the property of their owners.
09Disclaimers and liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY RELEASE DATE, COUNTDOWN, OR NOTIFICATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR TIMELY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
10Apple App Store terms
If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:
- These terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not a party to this agreement.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund your purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims.
- Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging any third-party intellectual property infringement claim relating to the app.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government restricted-party list.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
- Your use of the app must comply with the App Store Terms of Service and applicable third-party terms.
11Changes and termination
We may update these terms as the app evolves. If a change is material, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app where appropriate. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, subject to the Lifetime commitment in section 06. You may stop using the app and delete it at any point; sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
12General
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is limited to the minimum extent necessary.
- Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the app, replacing anything said or written before.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision, that isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the app, on notice to you.
- Force majeure. We aren't liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages at Apple, TMDB, or our hosting provider.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Hernando County, Florida. If you're a consumer elsewhere, this doesn't remove any mandatory protections you have under your local law.
